From Vancouver Island, Canada, Horribilis is an experimental Death-Metal project formed by Jesse Bevans and later joined by Ryan Schmeister. Focused on creating a new and refreshing sound within the Death-Metal genre, influence was drawn from outside sub-genres including: Technical Death-Metal, Brutal Death-Metal, Nü Metal and NWOBHM.
